Perfect for both unfinished and finished wood, the Minwax Fast-Drying Finish is handy to use when you’re unsure if you will be applying a primary finish. You can apply this wood stain with a foam brush, a lambswool applicator, or a natural bristle brush. This is a great product if you have a lot of patience to get a beautiful finished result.
The benefit of Minwax Polyurethane is the time it takes to dry. By applying thin coats, you can get a finish that will dry quickly. This is perfect if you have to apply it in an area outside or have a dusty workshop.
As each finish dries, there is less of a possibility that it will get debris, dirt, or dust trapped in the finish. Keep in mind that it will take a few hours for each thin layer to completely dry. Once it is dry, take a piece of sandpaper to abrade the finish before applying the next coat, which will allow you to receive a beautiful result in the end.
This product may change the color of the wood just a little due to its oil content. While the change is small, it is visible, but it should add a warmer look to your wood. Minwax will require 2 to 3 coats on a piece of wood, unless it will be used heavily, then you will probably need 4 or 5. While this product does require patience, you will love the beautiful end result.
